Meet Liverpool

Welcome to Liverpool

As European Capital of Culture 2008 Liverpool is a city rich in culture. From The Beatles to Tate Liverpool, football to architecture, Liverpool is a city that never fails to impress.

Perhaps its most famous landmark is its waterfront, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And it’s here that a stunning series of new facilities has taken shape, making the city even more of a draw for event organisers.

"On behalf of myself and the organisers of the 5th International Forum on Online Dispute Resolution, can I thank you – everyone has said this has been the best ever event. Perhaps one day we can look to bringing it back to Liverpool". Graham Ross, Chief Executive, TheClaimRoom.com Ltd. Read More
Liverpool Arena & Convention

The purpose-built Arena and Convention Centre Liverpool boasts a 1,350 seat auditorium, and as part of the complex there’s also a 310-bedroom Jurys Inn Hotel and a 132-bedroom Staybridge Suites Hotel. This great choice of accommodation continues with other new city centre hotels, including a 130-bedroom Malmaison and the boutique Beatles-themed Hard Days Night Hotel, while near the airport, a new 100-bedroom Holiday Inn Express has opened.

The city’s well-connected too – a plus point for all delegates - with London just a couple of hours away by train. There’s also easy access to the motorway network, while Liverpool John Lennon Airport is one of the fastest growing in Europe.

Liverpool is also fortunate enough to have the classic seaside resort of Southport on its doorstep, a clutch of world class golf courses, and the world famous Aintree Racecourse nearby, making Liverpool an ideal base for corporate entertaining too.
