5-day Incentive Itinerary Suggestion

Day One

Fly into Newquay Cornwall Airport. Reaching Cornwall could't be easier. You can now enjoy direct flights from across the UK as well as internationally. Check into The Scarlet, one of Cornwall's newest hotels and is an individual retreat for all seasons. The hotel is a balance of light, airy spaces with cosy, private areas, allowing you to mix with other guests or enjoy a bit of peace and solitude.

Enjoy the wide range of facilities on offer from the infinity pool to the many spa treatments. The team will be happy to arrange a choice of activities - from surf lessons and wild swimming, to horse riding, tree-climbing or deep sea fishing.

To round off a perfect day, enjoy an evening meal at the Jamie Oliver inspired Fifteen Cornwall restaurant. Offering an innovative menu of the best seasonal and local produce, prepared by talented professional chefs and aspiring young apprentice chefs, and served in a relaxed atmosphere by friendly and knowledgeable staff. On top of this, there are incredible views over a beautiful two mile beach.

Day Two

Head over to the Camel Valley Vineyard. They have been producing award-winning, world-class wines in a beautiful corner of Cornwall for twenty years in an idyllic setting on sun-drenched slopes near the famous Camel River. Have a tour of the vineyard followed by a wine tasting class!

Take time to visit
Lanhydrock House, one of Cornwall’s ultimate country houses and explore the 50 rooms and the magnificent gardens filled with magnolias and ancient trees.

Enjoy a relaxed lunch at the Old Quay House Hotel whilst taking in the spectacular waterfront location and dreamy, uninterrupted views across the ever changing Fowey estuary. Afterwards, meander through the cobbled streets taking in the relaxed atmosphere and browse the numerous interior shops which stock everything from cutting-edge home wares to shabby chic soft furnishings.

Leaving Fowey, head over to the small waterside village of St Mawes for your stay at Olga Politizzi’s
Tresanton Hotel. You can either enjoy the fabulous views from the Terrace whilst sipping an early evening cocktail, or take a walk up to St Mawes Castle and enjoy the fabulous views across the stunning Carrick Roads to Falmouth. Maybe even enjoy a stroll through the Mediterranean influenced Lamorran Garden.


 
Day Three

After an early breakfast, climb aboard the Pinuccia
, the Tresanton’s magnificent 48-foot classic yacht. Built to represent Italy in the Coppa D'Italia of 1939 she is the most beautiful boat in St Mawes harbour, with her slender line and tall wooden mast.

From Easter to the end of September, the skipper will take you sailing around Falmouth Bay which includes the estuary of the Helford and the Fal rivers. It is one of the most beautiful and safe areas for sailing and boating in Britain. If you prefer a shorter and faster sightseeing tour of Falmouth bay, you can go via speedboat. Just ask the skipper to take you on the rib to one of the many secluded beaches nearby. You shouldn't go without a fresh picnic and a bottle of white wine.

In the afternoon, travel to Devon and check into Bovey Castle - located on the wild and beautiful Dartmoor National ParkBathed in luxury, this manor house boasts one of the finest golf courses in England and prides itself in providing exquisite service, from the beautifully appointed, individually decorated bedrooms to the spa and pool facilities to the many varied activities.

Day Four

Head down to South Devon's beautiful coastlineand step onboard the New Angel, a fully equipped Sunseeker yacht belonging to John Burton Race's celebrated New Angel restaurant in Dartmouth. Enjoy a tour around at Start Bayfollowed by a cruise of the River Dart, concluding in a delicious lunch at the river-view New Angel restaurant, a chance to sample lovingly constructed ingredients from local producers.

Spend the afternoon at leisure in Dartmouth- explore the winding street of art galleries, independent boutiques and antiques centres. On a weekend day, try your hand at glass blowing at the Blown studio glass workshopin the heart of town.

As an alternative, enjoy an afternoon at the races at Exeter Racecourse with premier admission, racecard and betting voucher as well as a behind-the-scenes tour and 'tipster's talk' followed by a drink and bite to eat before watching the race unfold. 

Have an early evening drink at the Dart Marina hotel's
Floating Bridge Inn and soak up the views of the Dart before heading down to Burgh Island Hotel for dinner and dancing. Stay overnight in one of the Art Deco hotel's luxurious bedrooms with uninterrupted sea views - try the sea tractor for a different way to reach the island.


Day Five


This morning, spend time relaxing at
Bovey Castle. Choose from one of the activities on offer such as a guided walk on the moor, cooking school, clay pigeon shooting or falconry experience. Follow on with a pampering session be it a message, hot stones or reflexology, and there's also the indoor pool for a relaxing dip. Alternatively, improve your handicap on Bovey Castle's own golf course.

Allow Bovey Castle's Land Rover Discovery fleet to take you to the departure terminal at 
Exeter International Airport or Exeter St Davids station.

Head home chilled, relaxed and refreshed.
