Considering bidding to host an international conference in England?

If the answer is yes, then we will be pleased to assist.

For academics, UK national representatives of international associations or organisations we can:

• Provide impartial advice and information on English conference destinations, venues and Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs).

• Make introductions to specific venues and suppliers.

• Provision of a letter of support for the bid document from our Chairman or Chief Executive. For some high profile events, we may be able to secure a letter of support from the Prime Minister or Government Minister responsible for the sector represented.

• Provision of generic images and/or tourism information for bid documentation.

• Depending on location, date and our relations with the particular overseas diplomatic mission, we may be able to arrange for a bid reception at the British Embassy or Consulate often free of charge.

• Ask the Ambassador or Consul to attend an external event or exhibition.

• Offer the help of an overseas representative to promote the conference the preceding year.
