Brighton
Introduction
Located on the UK’s South Coast just 70km due south of London, Brighton & Hove is the perfect place to hold a conference, business meeting, exhibition or corporate social function.
Brighton is one of England's premier coastal destinations - offering all the benefits of the seaside, but with the facilities and culture of a truly modern European city. Brighton boasts an amazing array and mix of venues that can host large scale conferences or the smallest meeting. The city’s largest venue, The Brighton Centre, holds up to 4,450 people and has exhibition space of over 1900 m2
Brighton & Hove has no equal in terms of what it offers outside the delegate hall or meeting room. The city is famed (and quite rightly so) for its cosmopolitan atmosphere, vibrant nightlife and unique arts & culture scene, which allow participants to ‘free their mind’ and really enjoy their time in the city.
Economic and academic specialisms
Brighton can accommodate all types of conference and events from various sectors.
Brighton is also a city with an impressive IT / Digital Media business reputation, so conferences in this sector also find the city a great place to be. For the same reasons the Medical sector has great synergy with the city as Brighton has world leading research schools at both Sussex and Brighton Universities.
Brighton is also seeing more and more events with a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) angle coming because of the city’s own strong environmental proposition.
Aligned to main conference proposal the city offers, several of Brighton’s most prestigious venues have begun to develop and evolve their meeting, event and conference facilities, further enhancing the destination’s already substantial MICE product.
