Entry airport: Manchester or Liverpool

Manchester Airport is one of the busiest international airports in the UK with connections to many destinations across North America and Europe.

Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport has direct connections to many European destinations and an excellent network of connections around the world via Amsterdam with KLM.


*Manchester and Liverpool are just over 2 hours by train from London so flying into London and traveling to the North West is also an easy and accessible option


England's North West is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful areas in Europe and there are plenty of unique and inspirational ideas for a memorable incentive. 


The area contains the fashionable cities of Manchester and Liverpool, the heritage city of Chester (pictured left), stunning rural landscapes in Cheshire and the Lake District National Park and the best stretch of world championship links golf courses anywhere in the world. 


Organising travel between the cities, towns and villages of the North West is simple as there is an excellent road and rail network across the region.

Manchester

Original, happening and free-spirited are just some of the adjectives that describe the fashionable city of Manchester.

Here you can experience some of the best shopping, nightlife, music and cuisine anywhere in Europe.

The city is also home to two of the world’s most famous football teams, Manchester United and Manchester City, as well as over 90 museums and art galleries

Enjoying hospitality at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United FC, is one of the great sporting experiences, and an experience never to be forgotten. 


Urbis
, a museum dedicated to city life, or The Lowry, named after Manchester’s most famous artist, are just two examples of the city’s incredible cultural offer. Both venues make perfect locations for a dazzling reception or gala dinner.

Liverpool

Liverpool, less than an hour from Manchester, needs little introduction.

Liverpool is one of the world's most historic port cities and, as such, the city's waterfront area has now been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In 2008 the city also enjoyed the prestige of being crowned European Capital of Culture.

The city’s list of great attractions is endless and offers ideal incentive opportunities:

A private reception and tour of the Beatles Story, a museum dedicated to the world’s most famous band.

There is even a replica of the famous Cavern room giving guests an evocative and atmospheric taste of the swinging sixties! Nearby is the famous Cavern Club, arguably the most night club in the world!


Corporate hospitality is available at Anfield, home to Liverpool FC, or at Goodison Park, home to their bitter rivals, Everton FC, from August through to May.


Liverpool is also home to Britain’s most popular horse race, The Aintree Grand National. Enjoy the thrills and spills as 40 horses line up in a spectacular contest of skill and endurance. The Grand National forms part of a 3 day festival at the course in early April.


A tour of the Albert Dock area, a UNESCO World Heritage site, containing the Tate Liverpool, one of England’s leading art galleries, and the Echo Arena, opened in 2008 and hosting concerts from the world’s leading musical artists, is a must-do on any visit to thie city.

Chester & Cheshire

The wonderful heritage city of Chester was founded by the Roman’s in the 70’s AD and retains its status as the most complete walled city in the British Isles.

There is plenty to do here for incentive groups. Take a 'Roman' tour, charter a boat for a dinner cruise on the beautiful River Dee or treat your delegates to corporate hospitality at the world class Chester Racecourse.

The splendid Chester Grosvenor provides five star luxury in the centre of the city with a Michelin starred restaurant and spa.

The rural county of Cheshire contains some of England’s most enchanting gardens including Tatton Park, Lyme Park and Arley Hall & Gardens.


England's Golf Coast

Just north of Liverpool is the magnificent England’s Golf Coast, so named for the sheer number of World Championship links golf courses dotted along the spectacular coast around Southport and Blackpool 

Amongst the courses are regular hosts of the British Open, Royal Birkdale and Royal Lytham St Annes.




The Lake District National Park

Further north, the county of Cumbria contains some of the world’s most pristine and unspoilt scenery.

The Lake District National Park is England’s largest national park and boasts England's highest mountain and deepest lake

The area is particularly popular for sailing, climbing and horse riding though more unusal ways of seeing the beautiful scenery can be experienced by taking an exhilarating balloon flight or steam railway?
