3-day Incentive Itinerary Suggestion
Day One
Arrive into Brighton and check in to Drakes, a luxury boutique hotel on Brighton seafront, known for its contemporary designed rooms and special room features. Go exhibitionist in the feature room, which includes a bay window bath overlooking the Brighton Pier. Will you dare to bare?
From Drakes you will be picked up in a Brighton Tuk Tuk and be taken to Kemp Town for lunch at Sam's of Brighton, a family-owned restaurant with an unpretentious menu featuring British classics using quality seasonal ingredients.
After lunch your Tuk Tuk will be waiting to whisk you off to Shoreham Airport for a champagne tour in a helicopter. Sit back and relax whilst discovering the West Sussex coastline, a birds-eye view of Arundel Castle and the Isle of Wight as well as a unique view of Brighton.
Your Tuk Tuk will be ready for your return and will take you back to your accommodation so you can get suited and booted for the evening ahead.
Dine like the royals in Regency splendour with a private banquet at the Royal Pavilion. The Royal Pavilion is one of the most extravagant and exotic buildings in the British Isles and a definite must see.
On arrival at the Pavilion you will be met with a champagne reception and taken on a behind the scenes tour. This special tour will take you to some areas of the building never open to the public including the servants’ staircases, hidden corridors and the famous underground tunnel. It is the unique opportunity to have an understanding of how the building was run when it was the residency of George IV.
Following the tour you will be taken to the Banqueting Room to experience exquisite fine dining in one of the most magnificent rooms of this Royal palace.
* Brighton has an array of hotels to suit incentive groups. The 4* properties The Old Ship Hotel, Hotel du Vin and Hotel Una are an ideal base located in the heart of the town. The 5* Grand Hotel is a short distance way in Eastbourne and the 5* South Lodge Hotel is found in the beautiful South Downs National Park. Luxury 4* hotels including Ashdown Park, Amberley Castle and Alexander House are also close by.
Day Two
Brighton is a compact, walkable city with rich heritage and stunning Regency architecture making it the perfect place for a walking tour. So start the day with a guided tour of the Artists Quarter and The Lanes. The Lanes are crammed with an extraordinary mix of antiques and jewellery shops and offers a shoppers paradise of independent shops and boutiques.
Take a well deserved rest with afternoon tea at The Grand. Since opening in 1864, this elegant Victorian hotel has attracted an interesting mix of guests from explorers to supermodels and even Prime Ministers. So relax in sumptuous style with smoked salmon sandwiches, chocolate dipped strawberries and scones with a naughty cream horne!
After lunch you will be taken to Brighton Marina, the largest marina destination in Europe offering an eclectic mix of daytime and night-time entertainment. From here you will board a yacht and set out to sea.
For the adventurous try your hand at yacht racing, coached by professional instructors you will go from complete novice to fully participating in a genuine yacht race taster. This is not just sailing… this is hands on yacht racing, competing with your crew against other yachts & the elements! The winners will be the most effective team who can learn and develop a skill, work together as a team and adapt to the conditions, although everyone is sure to finish the activity buzzing with excitement.
Or those wishing to take it easy can set sail on a chartered yacht. The skipper will be on hand at all times to show you how to handle your luxury yacht, or if that sounds too demanding, sit back and merely enjoy the ride and a sight seeing tour of the East Sussex coastline.
Once returned to dry land there will be a champagne presentation for the winning racing team and a chocolate retox awaiting you at the Hotel Seattle.
Enjoy private dining with your own terrace overlooking the marina followed by a mountain of chocolate fondue.
Day Three
Time to get out and about and experience Sussex further.
First stop is at Orb 360, set atop
Devils Dyke, where those who are after an adrenaline fix can hurtle down a hill in a 12ft PVC orb at speeds of up to 30mph. Alternatively just relax and enjoy the stunning views across Brighton, the coast and the South Downs.
Next is a visit to
Glynde Place, a magnificent Elizabethan manor house set at the top of a peaceful village in the South Downs. Be met by your tour guide and experience a glimpse of life in a traditional English manor house, from its origins over 400 years ago to the present day. Wander through the magnificent gardens and return for lunch on the lawn or in the Coach House Tearoom.
Head back to Brighton via the historic town of
Lewes and a stop off at
Lewes Castle from which there are glorious views of the surrounding countryside.
Spend your last night reminiscing your visit with cocktails and dinner at the
Hanbury Club. The Hanbury Club is the jewel of Kemp Town with its stunning art nouveau interior the Club offers the glamour and elegance of a bygone era and great food. An eclectic range of music nights include Latin, Jazz, Swing and Lounge singers.
